HollTed Danson has been a very successful television actor, producer and writer so far. His main role in the television series Cheers got him critical acclaim and praise, which made him a household name. Years later, he played Dr. John Becker in the show Becker, a doctor who owns a practice and is constantly annoyed with his patients. But what really made his later life career was his role as Michael in The Good Place.
When The Good Place ended earlier this year, we were all very sad to no longer see Ted Danson and the rest of the cast on TV. However, NBC’s announcement for the release of Mr. Mayor sometime around 2021 made us delighted. Especially because Ted Danson will be playing the lead role in the show!

Mr. Mayor: Plot and Cast
Mr. Mayor is an upcoming American sitcom created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock. Tina Fey and Robert Carlock also wrote the screenplay for the episodes in the show. Fey, Carlock, Jeff Richmond and David Miner serve as the executive producers for the show while Little Stranger, Bevel Gears, 3 Arts Entertainment and Universal Television produced the show.
The show tells the story of a wealthy businessman who runs to become the mayor of Los Angeles, and not to make big changes for the better of the city. Mayor Bremer finds himself in a tight spot after he wins, as he needs to not only decide what he stands for, but win the respect of his daughter and his staff.
Ted Danson plays Mayor Bremer while Bobby Moynihan plays Jayden. Holly Hunter plays Arpi while Vella Lovell plays Mikaela. Mike Cabellon plays Tommy while Kyla Kennedy plays Orly Bremer.
