Is Intelligence renewed for its next season? – Intelligence Season 2 has been confirmed by the Sky.

Intelligence is a British television sitcom. The series is created by Nick Mohammed and starring David Schwimmer.

David Schwimmer who is an NSA agent is assigned to act as a liaison to the cyber crimes unit in the UK’s Government Communications Headquarters, quickly antagonizing the unit’s chief with his brash style and tendency to try to take over.

Intelligence:

The first season of Intelligence starring David Schwimmer  premiered on 21 February 2020. The series is being broadcast in the UK on Sky One. It is also available on Sky’s Now TV platform. The series will be available in the US on Peacock, NBCUniversal’s upcoming streaming service. Season 2 of Intelligence has been confirmed by the Sky.

A plan throws arrogant NSA agent David Schwimmer and inept GCHQ computer analyst Nick Mohammed together. Jerry hopes Joseph has a way to twist the results when he’s forced to take a polygraph test. A bored Jerry goes against Christine’s orders and convinces the team to go after a hacker his own way. GCHQ falls victim to a cyber attack, and Jerry thinks it would be great if the hacker joins the team.

Mary prepares to see her ex. Jerry makes a confession that leaves Joseph devastated. Having failed her appraisal, Christine tries a new approach. A shocking turn of events outs Jerry’s past. As his job at GCHQ comes under threat, Joseph hatches a plan to keep him in the UK.

Intelligence Season 2: Official Release Date

For now, there is not any confirmed date for the release of Intelligence 2. Just after the premiere of season one, Intelligence Season 2 was confirmed by Sky One. The second season can come out anytime in 2021.

Intelligence Season 2: Official Trailer

An official trailer has not yet been released. At this moment, the official trailer is not available but the series is scheduled to renew in 2021. We can anticipate that the trailer will come out at the end of 2020 or the beginning of 2021. So, we assume it is going to be a long wait.

Intelligence Season 2: Cast and Characters

Most of the cast of Season 1 will be the same in the next season. There can also be some new faces.

We will see David Schwimmer playing Jerry Bernstein, Nick Mohammed as Joseph Harris, Sylvestra Le Touzel as Christine Clarke, Jane Stanness as Mary Needham, Ollie Birch as Quentin O’Higgins, Gana Bayarsaikhan as Tuva, and Colin Salmon as Rupert Fleming.

Intelligence is described as “a workplace comedy set in the UK’s GCHQ – a kind of weedier, geekier version of MI5, where they tackle international and domestic cyber-crime from a desktop”.

The comedy is set in the UK’s high-tech surveillance agency, following a lowly employee and an incoming agent on secondment from the US’s equivalent, the National Security Agency.
