Bright Memory: Infinite – Release Date and Gameplay!

Bright Memory: Infinite is an all-new lightning-fast convergence of the genres FPS and Action, developed by FYQD-Studio. Combine a wide range of skills and strengths to cause stunning combo attacks.

Bright Memory is a first-person shooting game created by Chinese developer FYQD Personal Studio. Episode 1 was launched by Steam’s Early Access service for Windows on 12 January 2019, leaving early access on 26 March 2020.

Bright Memory received mostly positive reviews from the critics upon launch.  It is currently being built into a full-length game called Bright Memory: Infinite. It is expected to be released on Windows, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X in 2021.

Gameplay

Bright Memory: Infinite is set in the vast, futuristic metropolis of the year 2036. An extraordinary phenomenon, for which scientists can seek no reason, has appeared in the skies across the globe. The Supernatural Science Research Organization (SRO) has sent investigators to separate regions to study this phenomenon. It is soon revealed that these strange events are tied to an ancient puzzle. A hidden past of two dimensions that is about to come to light.

During the journey, Xiancheng suggests that players are going to navigate a spacecraft that can travel through time. Also battle ancient samurai displaced from 1000 years ago to the present, and explore a wormhole that has arisen on Earth. It sure sounds like a bombastic sci-fi storyline, and it’s going to be fun to see how the narrative and writing works out with one man at the helm.

The trailer shows a little more of the plot structure in the game, and also the impressive-looking gameplay.

As FYQD mentions out in the video summary, the trailer dubbing is Chinese, but the final game will feature Japanese and English voice performance. In addition to the fast-paced action sequences, the trailer also reveals that players are armed with a sword and grappling hook for use in and outside battle.
