Helstrom: Release Date, Upcoming Season and More!

Published

on

Helstrom is an American web drama television series that first premiered on Hulu. It is based on the Marvel Comics characters Daimon and Santana Hellstrom. Paul Zbyszewski created the show with the help of producers ABC Signature Studios and Marvel Television. Looks like we are going to see a lot of Marvel this year, especially with the long-awaited released of Wonder Woman 1984 and Black Widow. Is this show worth watching? When does it come out? Well, you must read more to find out!

Helstrom: Plot and Cast

The show features siblings Daimon and Ana Helstrom, who try to save humanity from the worst of their kind. They are the children of a powerful serial killer and use their abilities to hunt down the bad sections of humankind. This serial killer is actually Satan, who decided to come to Earth in human form and start a family to increase his powers.

Tom Austen plays Daimon, an ethics professor. Daimon wants to save those who he is close to and fights demons for that purpose. Sydney Lemmon plays Ana, who runs an auction house. However, the house is just a cover for her real job, which is to hunt down those who punish others for no reason. Ana has demonic and succubus like powers in the comics; however, we don’t know yet if she has the same powers in the TV series.

Elizabeth Marvel plays the institutionalised Victoria Helstrom while Robert Wisdom plays the Caretaker who is a guardian against the demons. Other cast members include June Carryl as Louise Hastings, Daniel Cudmore as Keith Spivey, David Meunier as Finn Miller, Ariana Guerra as Gabriella Rossetti and Alain Uy as Chris Yen.

Helstrom: Release Date and Trailer

The series is scheduled to be released on October 16, 2020 on Hulu. It will be a part of the ‘Huluween’ shows that the platform releases each year. The show is expected to have ten episodes for the first season. We hope you enjoy the trailer below!
