Snake Eyes is an upcoming American superhero film that is intended to be a prequel to the first film in the G.I. Joe film series. This film focuses on the origins of the character with the same name. Bojan Bazelli worked as the cinematographer while Metro Goldwyn Mayer, Skydance Media, Entertainment One and Di Bonaventura Pictures produced the film.

Robert Schwentke directed the film while Stephen Davis, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Josh Feldman, and Brian Goldberg produced the film. Evan Spiliotopoulos wrote the screenplay while Martin Todsharow worked on the music for the film. Paramount Pictures distributed the film.

Snake Eyes: Plot and Cast

The movie tells the story of Snake Eyes, the character, and how he came to be Snake Eyes. It serves as a prequel to the franchise. However, Ray Park, who previously played Snake Eyes in the films, will not reprise his role.

Henry Golding plays Snake Eyes while Andrew Koji plays Storm Shadow and Iko Uwais plays Hard Master. Peter Mensah plays Blind Master while Ursula Corbero plays Baroness and Samara Weaving plays Scarlett.

Takehiro Hera plays Kenta while Haruka Abe plays Akiko and Steven Allerick plays Father. Simon Chin plays Hama while Samuel Finzi plays Augustine and Eri Ishida plays Obake. Finally, Nicholas Dohy plays a security thug.

David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger work as executive producers for the film while Margery Simkin work with the casting team. Michael Diner works as the supervising art director while Alec Hammond works for the production design team.

Snake Eyes: Release Date and Trailer

The film was originally scheduled for release on March 27, 2020. However, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will now be released on October 22, 2021.
