Hello, Readers! The Starling is one of the most anticipated films coming to Netflix in 2021, according to the company’s announcement. The Netflix film, which will be released in September, appears to be another terrific story with an outstanding ensemble.

Matt Harris wrote the script for this upcoming film, which is directed by Theodore Melfi. In April 2020, the streaming service purchased the film’s rights for no less than $20 million. The Plot of the Movie

The movie follows a married couple who are dealing with sorrow in two very different ways, according to Netflix. While the husband is away, the wife remains in the real world. She comes into a starling that builds a nest in her bayard, which just adds to her problems as she embarks on a hilarious quest to exterminate it. She makes a new buddy with whom she creates an odd bond, and the two work together to solve their difficulties.

Cast and Characters

Melissa McCarthy stars as Lilly Maynard, a woman coping with her bereavement by interacting with the titular starling. Melissa McCarthy has starred in films such as ‘The Heat,’ ‘Bridesmaids,’ and ‘Spy.’
