Amazon Studios, Plan B Entertainment, and Reunion Pacific Entertainment are the production companies involved with the show.
The first season premiered in 2022 and later got renewed for a second season, which is soon coming back on Amazon Prime Video.

Outer Range Plot and Cast
The basic premise of the show focuses on Royal Abbott, who is a Wyoming rancher who is fighting for his land and family. Royal Abbott has discovered a mysterious black void in the pasture after the arrival of Autumn, a drifter with a connection to Abbott’s ranch.
As of the article writing, the makers have not revealed any specific storyline for the second season. However, we can expect it to pick up the story from where it left off in the previous season.

The first season of the show was released on April 15, 2022, and it consisted of eight episodes in total. In October 2022, the series was renewed for a second season.
At this moment, the developers have not revealed any official release date for the second season. However, we can expect to get the upcoming season by early 2024. The second season is also expected to have the same number of episodes as the first season.
