Killing Eve is a thriller series produced by Sid Gentle Films for BBC America and BBC Three. It is based on the Villanelle novel series by Luke Jennings and each season is led by a different female head writer.

The first season was released on April 8, 2018, and received decent feedback from the audience. The performances of the lead actresses were mostly praised.

It received several awards including a Peabody Award and British Academy Television Award for Best Drama Series. The third season premiered on April 12, 2020 and ended on May 31, 2020. It was then renewed for a fourth and final season.

Killing Eve Season 4: Release Date and Plot

Killing Eve Season 4 is scheduled to premiere on February 27, 2022 in BBC America and in early 2022 in BBC iPlayer. Just like the previous seasons, the fourth one will also consist of eight episodes.

The series follows Eve Polastri who is bored with her protection role in the British intelligence agencies. She is mostly interested in female assassins, their psychologies and methods of killing. After she investigates a case in relation to a witness she is handling, she is fired from MI5.

Eve is then recruited in the secret division of MI6 where she chases an international assassin, only known as Villanelle. Both meet each other and Eve realizes that members of both the sides are more interconnected than she is comfortable with.

Eve eventually develops an obsession for Villanelle and both the women lose their focus on their initial missions in order to know more about each other.

It is not confirmed who would reprise their roles. However, Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer will return as Eve Polastri and Oksana Astankova.

Apart from them, we might get to see Fiona Shaw, Kim Bodnia, Owen McDonnell, Nina Sosanya, Edward Bluemel, Henry Lloys-Hughes, Adrian Scarborough, Harriet Walter in supporting roles.
