The Old Man: Release date, Cast, Plot, Trailer, and many more!

Here’s good news for thriller lovers! Another action-thriller series is coming soon. And it is ‘The Old Man.’ The story is based upon the novel ‘The Old Man’ written by Thomas Perry in 2017. Moreover, the series will have spine-chilling suspense and a lot of action for the viewers to enjoy. Robert Levine and John Steinberg have written the whole series.

The Old Man: Cast and Plot!

After the announcement of plans to undertake the development of the pilot episode, key roles came out. Jeff Bridges, who stars as the mature Dan Chase, was the first cast. Jon Watts (Mighty Ducks: Game Changers) was commissioned to direct the pilot episode and act as executive producer. John Lithgow (Perry Mason) and Amy Brenneman (Goliath) were cast in the roles of Harold Harper and Zoe, respectively. Alia Shawkat is coming in the role of Angela, and Bill Heck will show up in the role of a young Dan Chase. In December 2020, Navid Negahban (Tehran) and Pej Vahdat were cast in the roles of Hazard and young Hazard, respectively.

The story revolves around Dan Chase, an ex-intelligence officer hiding his identity from the public living with his two dogs. He maintains contact with his daughter, who has grown up through the phone. The more he seems to be a normal guy who has entered old age, the more he keeps his secrets to himself.

The Old Man: Trailer and Release date!

The Old Man’s trailer recently came on YouTube and featured a 7-second clip showing Jeff Bridges as Dan Chase in his daily life and his life as a spy. The clip contrasts Chase’s life as both a spy and a homebody.

The release date is unknown to us but numerous sources have reported that The Old Man’s release date would be somewhere in the first half of 2022.
