Trying Season 3: Release Date, Cast and more!

Created and written by Andy Wolton, Trying is a comedy television series produced for Apple TV+. Wolton is also the executive producer alongside Jim O’Hanlon and Josh Cole.

The first season of the series premiered on May 1, 2020 followed by the second season on May 21, 2021. A third season has been already ordered by Apple TV+. The show has also received positive reviews from critics and currently holds an approval rating of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes and 69 out of 100 on Metacritic.

Trying Plot and Cast

Towards the end of Trying Season 2, we saw Nikki and Jason go on a visit on their adoption journey. Nikki attempts to set up Erica along with Jason’s friend. Devon is a single father and Karen is drawn to him. Jason and Nikki wants a big flat.

They are now searching for the bigger as well as child-friendly flat. Nikki is in hurry for the promotion at work and on the other side, Karen gets tempted to cheat. The problem for Nikki and Jason reveals at the party of Denise and Ben. The situation gets difficult because of that and Jason plans to play the detective.

Freddy talks about his relationship problems to Erica. Karen is finding Deven on the other side and Jason finds a little bit of struggle at Scott’s stag night. Karen talks with Nikki and tells her doubts. The relationship between Freddy and Erica gets worse and it looks like the line of their relationship gets blur.

Karen and Scott’s wedding day becomes the finest one and on the other side, Jason and Nikki gets few seconds to make a life changing decision. Now the third season is expected to continue from this part.

Speaking about the cast, we might get to see Rafe Spall, Esther Smith, Imelda Staunton, Ophelia Lovibond, Oliver Chris, Sian Brooke, Darren Boyd and others in the lead roles.

Trying Season 3 Release Date

Although the makers have not revealed anything, the third season of Trying is expected to release sometime in 2022. Since the last two seasons had a gap of one year in between, it should release before December 2022.

The upcoming season is expected to have eight episodes like Season 1 and Season 2. Further details are expected to be revealed in the next few months.
