The series first premiered on June 21, 2020, on HBO. In July 2020, it was renewed for a second season. The show has received positive reviews from critics and currently holds an approval rating of 75% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The release date for the second season of the series, Perry Mason has not been announced yet. For now, we can expect it in late 2022 or early 2023.

The new season might consist of eight episodes like Season 1, although it is yet to be confirmed by the makers. However, the developers would soon make new announcements regarding the second season.

Considering what happened in Season 1, the show will possibly cover one case in Season 2. Since the first season was criticized for lacking the ongoing mystery and case, the writers might focus on smaller cases.

Now talking about the cast, it’s unclear exactly who would be returning from the lead cast in the second season. However, we can expect to see Matthew Rhys will be back as the title character, Juliet Rylance as Della Street, Chris Chalk as Paul Drake, Shea Whigham as Pete Strickland, and Tatiana Maslany as Sister Alice McKeegan.

We might also get to see Eric Lange as Gene Holcomb, Justin Kirk as Hamilton Burger, Diarra Kilpatrick as Clara Drake, and Katherine Waterston as Ginny Ames.
