Developed by Dana Starfield, Madagascar: A Little Wild is a computer-animated comedy television series and it is produced by DreamWorks Animation Television. Starfield is the producer of the series and Johanna Stein is the executive producer.
The first season of the series premiered on September 7, 2020 and it continued for six more seasons. The series has received mixed reviews from critics and has been rated 5.6/10 on IMDb. Despite that, the makers have renewed the series for an eighth season.

Madagascar: A Little Wild Plot and Cast
The makers have not revealed much about the plot of Madagascar: A Little Wild. Since Season 7 premiered last month, further details related to the plot shall be disclosed soon.
The basic premise of the show features the loveable foursome of Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo. The series showcases the team as kids residing in their rescue habitat at the Central Park Zoo. They might be small, but like everybody who lands in New York City, these little guys have big dreams and the show follows all their adventures.
Coming to the cast, we should get to see all the lead cast members of the first seven seasons to reprise their roles. This includes Tucker Chandler, Amir O’Neil, Luke Lowe, Shaylin Becton, Eric Petersen, Candace Kozak, Jasmine Gatewood, Eric Lopez, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Myrna Velasco, Grace Lu, Charlie Adler and Johanna Stein.

The seventh season of Madagascar: A Little Wild premiered on April 4, 2022. The makers have officially confirmed that Season 8 would premiere on June 30, 2022.
The eighth season has been confirmed as the final season of the series. It might consist of six episodes like the first seven seasons.
