Everything there’s to know about Nolan’s TENET

Movies are nothing but an exaggerated mirror image of what we had, what we have and where we are headed. TENET seems to be claiming to alter where we’re headed by using what we have.

Written and directed by Christopher Nolan – “TENET” is another pebble in the action thriller pond. The movie is produced by Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan. The film is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. Nolan’s TENET is scheduled to release on 17th July 2020.

The Coronavirus effect

The official release date is 17th July 2020 but the current pandemic is most likely to push the release of TENET as theatres are closed in the wake of this outbreak and along with that a lot of other things in order to control the spread of the virus. Not to forget, TENET had a budget of over $200 million, pushed tentative date has not been released. If anything, the push will give rise to anticipation and excitement in the minds of the Nolan fans, not to mention the TENET’s trailer has largely contributed. TENET is seen as the most eligible candidate for a blockbuster opening.

The Cast

The cast of Tenet is revealed, but their characters are yet to reveal. They are- John David Washington, an agent, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Himesh Patel, Clemence Poesy, Denzil Smith, Martin Donovan, and Bean Avery.

The Plot

When Warner Bros. announced the official title of the movie in May, it confirmed “Tenet” is set in the world of international espionage. It is also considered as Nolan’s Bond movie by fans because he has, many times expressed his interest in directing a 007 movie. As most of Nolan’s movies are surrounded by speculation from fans, TENET is no stranger to that. The twisted “TENƎꓕ” meant a hint of trippiness while some await Nolan’s love of time-bending narratives.
