Created by Peter Ocko, Moonhaven is a dystopic sci-fi series produced by AMC+. Ocko has also directed the show, and the show’s executive producer is Deb Spera.

The first season of the show premiered on July 7, 2022. The show received an average rating from critics. Despite the mixed reception, the makers have renewed the show for a second season on July 28, 2022.

Moonhaven is a series set in the future where it tells a story about a lunar cargo pilot Bella Sway, 100 years from now, who is accused of a crime and is abandoned in the utopian community of Moonhaven to find solutions to the problems that will soon cause the end of Mother Earth. In this, Bella is stuck where she has to stop the forces that will be responsible for the destruction of Earth soon with the help of a local detective.

Apparently, the creators of the series are so busy in the production process that they haven’t given any sorts of spoilers or hints for the plot of season 2 of Moonhaven, but we do expect the new season to perform better than the others since the story seems to have actually started. Hopefully, the story moves forward and does not stagnate while keeping the audience engaged.

The lead cast of Season 1 are expected to come back which includes actors like Emma McDonald as Bella Sway, Dominic Monaghan as Paul Sereno, Joe Manganiello as Tomm Schultz, Ayele Zurer as Maite Voss, Kadeem Hardison as Arlo Noon, Amara Karan as Indira Mare and many other who make this series what it is today.

It has been speculated that Moonhaven Season 2 will premiere sometime in the year 2023, although nothing has been verified as of yet. You can watch the show anywhere you want, which apparently includes Amazon Prime Video, AMC+, The Roku Channel, AMC, and Directv.

For now, it is hard to say how many episodes will be there in the upcoming season. Some reports say that there will be 9 episodes. Well, let’s wait for an official announcement to know the confirmed details.
