Produced by Drew Palombi, Aaron Lovell, and Jeff Luini, Welcome to Wrexham is an American sports documentary series. It documents the events of the Welsh Association football club Wrexham A.F.C., as told by the club’s owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
The series has a total of two seasons and both seasons received good responses from critics and won two awards named Critics’ Choice Television Awards and five Primetime Emmy Awards. After the second season, the makers renewed the series for a third season.

Sports movies and TV shows have been full of underdog characters but Welcome to Wrexham Season 3 has managed to continue such storylines while underdogs try to win over the worst situations. The second season ended on a euphoric note as the very popular Wrexham team won in the official league with a victory of 3-1.
But the biggest victory was the beginning for the famous club known as Wrexham A.F.C. which has to confront against the toughest competitors. The third season will witness a change for the show with the same charm and the take will be completely different.
Now, coming to the cast for the series was stated as the following Rob McElhenney, Ryan Reynolds, Humphrey Ker, Fleur Robinson, Shaun Harvey, Phil Parkinson, Paul Mullin, Jordan Davies, Aaron Hayden, and Ollie Palmer.
Welcome to Wrexham Season 3 Release Date
The series debuted on FX on August 24, 2022, following the second season on September 12, 2023. The makers have renewed the series for a third season on November 14, 2023.
The makers have not confirmed the official release date for the third season but announced that it will be released in the middle of 2024. The number of episodes of the new season is not confirmed yet since the previous seasons have different numbers of episodes.
