The crime drama Ozark’s third season came along in March 2020 on Netflix. It consists of 10 new, mind-boggling episodes. It left the audience awestruck and begging for more. Now if there will be a fourth installment or not is the biggest question. Though there are no such updates, Netflix is yet to announce the renewal of the show. Since the last installment released on 27th March 2020, we are expected to wait a month or two before any sort of announcement. There’s a good chance for the renewal based on the popularity of the show and not just that, Chris Mundy, the showrunner and co-producer of the show has expressed his desire to release two more seasons of the show.
What to expect?
Ending with a shocking turn, Ozark Season 3 has got all the fans eagerly waiting to see where the Byrde family ends up with the cartel in Season 4, what happens with the Kansas City Mob. Lastly, where Ruth will end up in the Byrde’s criminal enterprise.
Ruth Langmore, played by Julia Garner, will move on from the Byrdes. Ever since the audience met Ruth in Season 1, they have seen her not only surviving but also thriving that world. So, it’s quite expected to see her strength grow in the upcoming seasons of Ozark. Not just that, Ruth will re-learn to trust her instincts.
Mundy said ” I think it will be about whether or not Ruth really can create something of her own that she wants and is sustainable, or if she wants something else,” He further explained. ” And I think (season 4) will be about if the Byrdes can turn the biggest mistake of their lives into this huge advantage, and how much will karma catch up with them if they do?”
When is it releasing?
It’s not quite possible to guess because the release dates for Ozark have varied in the past. Season 1 debuted in July 2017 followed by Season 2 in August 2018. Season 3 released in March 2020.
So, I guess we have to wait until we get any solid news on this. Until then binge on Ozark’s three seasons streaming on Netflix.
