Are you ready to go on an adventure with the latest Endwalker expansion of Final Fantasy XIV? If yes, then you will guide because things are about to get complicated here. The expansion will enable players to fly to their destination, but they first need to collect Aether Currents. If you have been collecting Aether currents for quite some time, go to the travel menu to track your progress and work accordingly. Flying saves a lot of time, and you can do more quests in the meantime. You can get those Aether Currents by doing side quests, finding them from the map, and progressing through the main storyline of the game.
Whether you want to go to Mare Lamentorum or any other location on the map, you need a minimum of ten Aether Currents as well as also need to complete five quests. Aether currents from completing quests are indicated in yellow color, while Aether currents found on the map are indicated in green color. Where is Aether Current compass?
In the previous version of the game, Aether Current compass was available in the Key item inventory, but the Endwalker expansion moved it to the collections section. To access it, go to the Duty menu and select the Collections menu there. You have the option of setting the compass at the hot bar from the collection’s menu. You also need FFXIV Gil and a lot of them to save yourself from efforts of finding Aether currents.
