Developed by Michael Patrick King, And Just Like That… is an American comedy-drama streaming television series for HBO Max. It is a revival and a sequel of the HBO television series Sex and the City created by Darren Star, which is based on Candace Bushnell’s newspaper column and 1996 book anthology of the same name.
And Just Like That… premiered on HBO Max on December 9, 2021, with mixed reviews. The season finale was released on February 3, 2022. Originally billed as a miniseries, the series was renewed for a second season in March 2022.

The series will follow Carrie’s new romance with podcast producer Franklyn should it return, while also exploring her new career hosting podcast Sex and the City. Meanwhile, the consequences of Miranda – now back with her red hair – choosing her romance with Che over her career will also likely be felt. We can’t see Miranda staying in Los Angeles forever!
Elsewhere, we will most likely see Charlotte continue to deal with her growing children, particularly with Rock exploring their gender identity. Finally, the future of Nya’s marriage and Seema’s new romance will also need to be followed up.
The main cast includes Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes, Kristin Davis as Charlotte York Goldenblatt, Mario, Cantone as Anthony Marentino, David Eigenberg[a] as Steve Brady, Willie Garson as Stanford Blatch, Evan Handler as Harry Goldenblatt, Sara Ramirez as Che Diaz, Chris Noth as Mr. Big/John James Preston, Sarita Choudhury as Seema Patel.
We will also get to see Nicole Ari Parker as Lisa Todd Wexley, Karen Pittman as Dr. Nya Wallace, Bobby Lee as Jackie Nee, Chris Jackson as Herbert Wexley, and others in recurring roles.
And Just Like That… Season 2 Release Date
And Just Like That has been recently confirmed to be returning with a second season on HBO Max. An exact release date has yet to be confirmed, but if production begins this year then we could see the show returning at the earliest of 2023.
The upcoming season might have ten episodes like Season 1. The makers are expected to announce further changes and additions in the next few months.
