What is the show about?
Cress Williams as Jefferson pierce is a high school principal and a retired superhero. But soon things take a turn. A local criminal gang by the name of the 100 kidnaps his daughters. He is then forced to become his former superhero version Black Lightning to counter the 100. His daughters also possess special powers and join their father to fight off the villain.

Jefferson Pierce played by Cress Williams will return back to his life of a superhero to counter the criminal gang the 100. Christine Adams as Lynn Stewart, his wife. China Anne McClain as Jennifer Pierce is his younger daughter. She possesses superhuman powers as well and goes by the name “Lightning”. She joins his father in fighting against the evils. Nafessa Williams as Annisa Pierce, his older daughter goes by the name “Thunder” and “Blackbird”. She also joins his father and sister with her superhuman strength and durability. Damon Gupton as Bill henderson, Marvin “Krondon” James as Tobias White, James Remar as Peter Gambi, Chantal Thuy as Grace Choi.
