Created by Derek Haas and Michael Brandt, Chicago Fire is an American drama series produced for NBC. Haas and Brandt are also the executive producers alongside Dick Wolf, Matt Olmstead, Danielle Gelber, Joe Chappelle, Arthur W. Forney, Peter Jankowski, Todd Arnow, Andrea Newman, Michael Givalry, and Reza Tabrizi.
The series first premiered on October 10, 2012. Although the show received mixed reviews from critics, it has been renewed for season 12. It currently holds a score of 49 out of 100 on Metacritic and led to a few spin-offs.

Chicago Fire Plot and Cast
The creators have not revealed a lot of details about the plot for the upcoming season. However, the series will probably revolve around a team of firefighters as they struggle between their personal and professional lives.
Audiences can expect to see more dramatic scenes in the new season since it is based on firefighters and paramedics who save others in life-threatening situations risking their own lives. The team is led by their heroic and determined Deputy District Chief Wallace Boden.
Coming to the cast, we should get to see Taylor Kinney, Christian Stolte, Joe Minoso, and Monica Raymund in the lead roles. However, the makers are yet to provide an official update on all the actors and characters that are confirmed to return in Season 11.
Chicago Fire Season 12 Release Date
Since the eleventh season premiered on September 21, 2022, we cannot expect season 12 to release this year. However, if things go as planned, it can be released towards the end of the year or we might have to wait until 2024.
The number of episodes for the new season has not been confirmed yet since it has been different for all the seasons. The developers are yet to provide an official statement on the same.
