Created by Brian Young, Fate: The Winx Saga is a teen fantasy drama television series. It was based on the Nickelodeon animated series Winx Club.

The first season of the show premiered on Netflix on 22 January 2021. In February 2021, the series was renewed for a second season and it is all set to premiere soon.

Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 Release Date

The season will have eight one-hour episodes up from six in season 1. It will premiere on Netflix somewhere in 2022. However, a release date has not been announced at this time.

Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 Plot and Cast

In Season 1, Rosalind, who was released by Bloom after she took advantage of the student’s naivety – is now in charge after offing Farah. Silva has been arrested for the attempted murder of Andreas, who is very much alive after surviving the battle of Aster Dell (where he supposedly died 16 years ago), to the complete disbelief of his son Sky.

Rosalind now has the upper hand, confident in the belief that the faculty and in turn the students will fall in line. But you don’t have to be in the writers’ room to know that season two will likely involve Alfea’s equivalent of Dumbledore’s Army working to right some serious wrongs.

War is also on the horizon, with The Burned Ones paling in comparison to what lies ahead, according to Rosalind. But what we do know is Bloom and her fairy magic will be key. We discovered that it was Rosalind who allowed The Burned Ones to break through the barrier and enter the college grounds.

It was an experiment to see if Bloom’s powers could handle the threat and lo and behold, they could. She successfully transformed into a full fairy, sprouting wings and accessed ancient magic that was thought to be lost, which was an exciting development for Bloom, but it also means that Rosalind will now be more determined than ever to gain control of her powers, just like the blood witches who abducted Cowen’s character previously.

Now, talking about the cast, it includes Abigail Cowen as Bloom Peters, Precious Mustapha as Aisha, Elisha Applebaum as Musa, Sadie Coverall as Beatrix, and Eva Birthistle as Vanessa Peters. We would also get to see Eve Best as Farah Dowling, Lesley Sharp as Rosalind, Hannah var der Westhuysen as Stella, Eliot Salt as Terra Harvey, and Danny Griffin as Sky.
