House of the Dragon Season 2: Release Date, Cast and more!
Created by Ryan J. Condal and George R. R. Martin, House of the Dragon is an upcoming American fantasy drama television series. The executive producers of the show are Ryan J. Condal, George R. R. Martin, Miguel Sapochnik, Vince Gerardis, Sara Lee Hess and Ron Schmidt.
House of the Dragon received a straight-to-series order in October 2019 with casting beginning in July 2020 and principal photography beginning in April 2021 in the United Kingdom. The series is scheduled to premiere on August 21, 2022. Its first season will consist of ten episodes. Another season is reportedly in development.

House of the Dragon Plot and Cast
The developers have not revealed much about the plot of House of the Dragon Season 2. However, in a few interviews recently, they have hinted a lot of things about the plot for Season 2.
House of the Dragon will follow the Dance of the Dragons, a Targaryen civil war that took place in Westeros and is referenced in Fire and Blood and The World of Ice and Fire. This particular battle of succession is also explored in two novellas, The Princess and the Queen and The Rogue Prince.
Coming to the cast, we should expect to see the leads of Season 1 in Season 2. This includes Paddy Considine, Emma D’Arcy, Milly Alcock, Olivia Cooke, Emily Carey, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, Rhys Ifans and more.
House of the Dragon Season 2 Release Date
The first season of the show is confirmed to premiere on August 21, 2022. Although the makers have not officially renewed it, we can expect to see the second season by 2023.
The upcoming season is expected to have ten episodes like the first season. The rest of the details related to Season 2 shall be revealed soon.
