Industry Season 2: Release Date, Cast and more!

Created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, Industry is a British-American television drama series. Down and Kaye also served as executive producers of the show alongside Jane Tranter, Lachlan MacKinnon, David P. Davis, Ryan Rasmussen and Joel Collins.

It premiered on 9 November 2020 on HBO in the United States and on 10 November 2020 on BBC Two in the United Kingdom. The series has been already renewed for a second season which is scheduled to premiere soon.

Industry Plot and Cast

The end of Industry Season 1 saw Harper making some big personal and professional decisions: she chose to stay with her cutthroat but affectionate American boss Eric instead of joining Sara’s quest for a more inclusive and less demanding Pierpont culture, and had a falling out with her best friend Yasmin after Harper turned on their coworker Daria for her gains. She is also hiding from a trauma connected to the disappearance of her brother.

Co-creator Mickey Down also confirmed that the second season will “delve into why Harper chose the finance industry in the first place, and what her choice means for her life moving forward.”

Myha’la Herrold, Ken Leung, Marisa Abela, and Harry Lawtey will all reprise their roles in the series. Even though he was ousted from Pierpont in Season 1 finale, David Jonsson will also return as Gus Sackey. There are might be some new faces in the second season of the show.

Industry Season 2 Release Date

HBO confirmed that Industry Season 2 will premiere on the network and its streaming service HBO Max on August 1, 2022. Further details are expected to be revealed soon.

The new season might consist of eight episodes like the first season. The series is produced by Bad Wolf and it received positive reviews from critics.
