The upcoming American superhero film, Kraven the Hunter is directed by J. C. Chandor. It is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name which is produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel.
Sony planned to bring a film based on Kraven the Hunter for a very long time since 2017. By the following year, directors and producers were finalized and Chandor was confirmed to be helming the film. Taylor-Johnson was confirmed as one of the cast members by 2021 and the rest of the casting process was completed by 2022. Filming started the same year in various locations.

Kraven the Hunter Release Date
Initially, the makers announced that Kraven the Hunter is set to be released on January 13, 2023. But later it was confirmed that the movie will be released on October 6, 2023, in IMAX.
Sony joined the popular streaming service Crave last year for their film projects and Crave grabbed the streaming rights. The deal also included the rights for a pay-one window.
Kraven the Hunter Plot and Cast

Now coming to the cast, it includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Kraven or Sergei Kravinoff, Fred Hechinger as Chameleon or Dmitri Smerdyakov, and Ariana DeBose as Calypso. The makers have also hired some famous stars which include Christopher Abbott, Russell Crowe, Levi Miller, and Alessandro Nivola but the name of their characters has yet to be announced.
