Created by American filmmaker Tim Miller, Love, Death & Robots is an adult animated anthology streaming television series. The show is a reimagination of Fincher and Miller’s reboot of the animated film, Heavy Metal, which was in development in 1981. It was supposed to be a feature film aimed at the new generation.
Miller is also the executive producer of the series along with David Fincher, Joshua Donen, and Jennifer Miller. The series received a positive response from critics and audiences and also won several accolades from the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

The show features standalone episodes of 22 minutes each and the producers are different for each. The title also speaks about the themes of the show and all the episodes do not feature all the elements.
Now coming to the cast of the series which includes Helen Sadler, Hayley McLaughlin, Time Winters, Omid Abtahi, Josh Brener, Gary Anthony Williams, Neil Kaplan, G. K. Bowes, Scott Whyte, Courtenay Taylor, Henry Douthwaite, Elaine Tan, Matt Yang King, Gwendoline Yeo, Maddox Henry, Sumalee Montano, JB Blanc, and Madeleine Knight.
The rest of the cast members include Rebecca Banatvala, Delroy Brown, Grahame Fox, Tudi Roche, Chris Parnell, Maurice LaMarche, Alexia Dox, Christine Adams, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Emily O’Brien, Ben Sullivan, Matt Yang King, Nolan North, Michael Benyaer, Fred Tatasciore, Laura Waddell, Jonathan Cahill, Scott Whyte, Anastasia Foster, Braden Lynch, and many more are there.

The makers have renewed Love, Death & Robots for season 4 on August 12, 2022. But the official release date has yet to be confirmed.
The series debuted on March 15, 2019, and aired for a total of three seasons until 2022. The series was released on Netflix and the fourth season will be released on the same platform.
