Movies Coming out to theaters before Nolan’s Tenet!

Hey, overexcited fans! There are movies releasing before Tenet too! Can we talk about them? Tenet has shuffled with the release date a lot and has happened to be “in the buzz” for the fans. People think Nolan’s Tenet might be the first major movie to release on theatres as they open, but here I am to tell you that there’s no ‘major-minor” when it comes to the art of making and watching films. Tenet is set to release on 31st of July and here are some movies that will release before “Tenet” that you can enjoy, it is also a great self-help piece for people who don’t like Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi self-accredited epic nonsense.

Unhinged

Russell Crowe’s dramatic thriller might just be the first movie to hit the theatres as soon as they open up. It was set to be released on July 1 but after some thoughts on whether the pandemic might clear or not, and whether cinemas are going to open exactly on the start of July, the movie’s release was shifted to July 10. Crowe will now be a mentally unstable driver who stalks and torments a lady after they have a confrontation at the Red lights (pretty good for an opening ceremony of theatres, right?).

The Broken Hearts Gallery

Broken Hearts Gallery is a sweet, but heartbroken tale of an art museum assistant in her 20s, who has saved a souvenir from every relationship she has been in, she now establishes a pop-up art gallery where people can display their saved items of lost love. It was set to release on July 10 where we will now see  Unhinged, and Broken Hearts Gallery is now shifted to July 17.

Saint Maud

Featured last year at the Toronto International Film Festival and BFI London Film Festival, Saint Maud’s eponymous character (played by Morfydd Clark) is a newly devout hospice nurse who is obsessed with saving her dying patient’s soul, but sinister forces and her own dark past threaten to undo to “put an end to her holy calling.” The movie was previously dated to April 10 but now it will release on July 17.

Mulan

Unlike other films on the list, Mulan is a big-budget, Tenet- level movie. Mulan is a re-make of Disney’s 1998 animated musical of the same name. It follows a Girl disguised as a Boy (Later a man) who takes hold of her father’s imperial army. The movie won’t be a musical and is set to release on July 24, a week before Tenet.
