According to the official synopsis for Scene Investigators, it is a “deducative reasoning game” where things will be dependent on observation, filling the missing gaps, searching for motives and lead everything with assumptions to progress further in the game.
Reports have also said that the game is going to be different compared to what EQ Studios have created in the past. Players need to look at the scene carefully and search for clues. They have to take a note of things and suspicions ans they go throught the crime scene. There will be murder mystery puzzles where gamers need to put everything together and find what exactly happened at the crime spot.
Gamers will also have to find the evidence that has been missing. There is a 70% chance for this and they have to uncover the narrative through the environment. There is a multiplayer mode where gamers can collaborate with other players to complete the levels.
