Sweet Home Season 3: Release Date, Plot, and more!
Based on the Naver webtoon of the same name by Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-chan, Sweet Home is a South Korean apocalyptic horror streaming television series. Kim Young-kyu has executive produced the show.
The first season was released on Netflix, on December 18, 2020. It has consisted of ten episodes in total. The show received very positive responses from the audience in the first 4 weeks of its release and appeared in the Netflix top 10 in more than 70 countries. Considering that, the developers of the show have renewed the show for two more seasons.

Sweet Home Plot and Cast
We can’t predict any certain storyline for the third season since the second season is yet to be out. The storyline of the third season will be dependent on the ending of the second season.
In Season 1, Cha Hyun-soo (Song Kang) and a group of neighbors gathered together to confront dangerous creatures bent on destroying civilization. The protagonists of Sweet Home are forced to decide whether to team up together or work alone, resulting in major character developments and plot twists across the first season’s ten episodes.
After barely escaping the Green Home, Hyun Soo was captured by the military, while Sang Wook (Lee Jin Wook) showed up with his burn scars having been healed. Without going over major spoilers, Season 2 is expected to expand the conflict introduced in the first season.
“Season 2 will include a new setting,” said Lee during the announcement. “I believe the technical details we couldn’t refine in Season 1 will be honed in Season 2,” he added.
Coming to the cast, includes Sung Kang, Lee Jin-wook, Lee Eugene, Lee Si-young, Go Min-si, Park Gyu-young, and many more.
Sweet Home Season 3 Release Date
Since Netflix just recently renewed Sweet Home for two more seasons, don’t expect an official release date for Season 2 anytime soon.
Netflix already shared its list of movies and TV shows coming in October 2022, and unfortunately, Sweet Home Season 2 is not included in the list, so, likely, the third season won’t be released until late 2024 or later.
