Morgan also served as executive producer of the show along with Stephen Daldry, Andy Harries, Philip Martin, Suzanne Mackie, Matthew Byam Shaw, Robert Fox, Tanya Seghatchian, Nina Wolarsky, Allie Goss, and Benjamin Caron.
The first two episodes of the show were released in the United Kingdom on 1 November 2016. The first season was released worldwide on 4 November 2016. The second season was released on 8 December 2017, the third on 17 November 2019, and the fourth on 15 November 2020. The fifth season is anticipated in November 2022 and has already been renewed for a sixth season.

The Crown Season 6 Release Date
The latest season of The Crown premiered in November 2020 and the new season will premiere in November 2022. For now, we can expect the sixth season to premiere sometime in 2023.
The upcoming season might consist of ten episodes like the first four seasons and the rest of the details shall be revealed soon. The show is distributed by Netflix Streaming Services.
The Crown Plot and Cast
It has been confirmed for now that the series will be back with the sixth season but it remains unknown what would happen in the upcoming season. Since the fifth season has not premiered yet, we cannot predict anything about what would happen in Season 6. However, it will continue from where the fifth season would end.
The basic premise focuses on the life of Queen Elizabeth II from her wedding in 1947 to Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, until the early 21st century. The previous season was set during Margaret Thatcher’s period as prime minister from 1979 to 1990 and focused on Lady Diana Spencer.
Coming to the cast, we cannot say anything as Season 5 has not premiered yet. Still, we can expect to see Imedla Staunton, Dominic West, Elizabeth Debicki, Olivia Colman, Lesley Manville, Claire Foy, and others in the lead roles.
