The Politician Season 2: Cast, Trailer, Release Date and More!
Many harbor the dream of becoming the President of The United States. But making dreams a reality is a much difficult task. Payton Hobart seems to be determined to achieve his childhood dream no matter what. He begins his journey in the path that might lead him to the White House. Payton will learn that becoming a Politician is not an easy as he had thought.
The Politician revolves around the life of a wealthy Californian kid Payton Hobart who dreams to become the President one day. He starts his political career from his high school itself. Payton stands for the election of student body election against popular River Barkley. The first season revolves around the high school elections and the politics that goes along with it.

The second season of The Politician will see Payton take on the incumbent senator from New York Dede Standish and her trusted aide Hadassah Gold.No one ready to back off from the elections. Both Parties employ every mean trick in their arsenal. Well, this senate election seems to have heated up a lot already.

What will be Cast of The Politician Season 2?
Ben Platt will return as Payton Hobart. Judith Light will play Dede Standish as the incumbent senator from New York state while Bette Midler will play Dede’s staunch lieutenant Hadassah Gold in the elections to the senate. The other member in the cast includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Zoey Deutch, Lucy Boynton, Bob Balaban, David Corenswet, Julia Schlaepfer, Laura Dreyfuss, Theo Germaine, Rahne Jones, Jessica Lange, and Benjamin Barrett.
