Vivo announced its sub-brand iQOO last month and unveiled the first smartphone under it in China this month. Conferring to a report from 91Mobiles, Vivo will be launching iQOO soon in India. The phone will be available for consumers from May or early June this year. That said, it is anticipated to compete with phones like OnePlus 7.
Vivo iQOO Specifications
Vivo iQOO features a 6.41-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution. Furthermore, the Vivo iQOO phone comprises a waterdrop notch on the top which arms the selfie camera. The phone also gets an in-display fingerprint sensor.
On the front, the Vivo phone takes in just one camera whereas there are three on the back. Flipping around, the Vivo iQoo contains 13-megapixel primary Sony IMX263 sensor along with a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. Also, there is a presence of territory 2-megapixel depth sensor arrangement on the back section.
As mentioned, the phone has a 12-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. Software wise the Vivo iQOO is grounded on Android 9.0 Pie with Funtouch OS 9 on top. Moreover, the device is backed by a 4000mAh battery with support for Vivo’s 44W Super Flash Charge technology. It is claimed to charge up to 50 per cent in just 15 minutes of time.
The Vivo iQOO comes chockfull with high-end specs and is devoted principally to the gamers and photographers. Notably, it gets powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset along with vapour cooling system.
The Vivo iQOO comes boxed with Monster Touch shoulder buttons which are positioned of the sides of the phone in order to offer four point operations to the gamers. The phone also originates with the vapour cooling system. It is further claimed to be capable of reducing up to 12-degree Celsius of temperature without affecting the overall performance.
Vivo iQOO Price in India (Expected)
In China, the Vivo iQOO is available in four variants. The base model with 6/128GB configuration is valued at CNY 2,998 (approx. 31,000 INR) whereas the 8/128G variant is priced at CNY 3,298 (approx. 34,900INR). The same model with 256GB of storage is priced at CNY 3,598 (approx. 38,100INR). That said, the top-end model with whopping 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is being sold for CNY 4,298 (approx. 45,500) in China.
The report advances that Vivo iQOO will go against the OnePlus 7 and is expected to be priced around 40,000 to 50,000 in India. Vivo iQOO comes in two colours, i.e. Electric Blue and Lava Orange. Once launched, users can buy the iQOO from almost all online and offline retailers.
