Directed by Julian Jones, Tom Dumican, Jamie Goold, and Alice Smith, 007: Road to a Million is a reality competition show spin-off of the James Bond franchise. It is hosted by Brian Cox and features nine teams of two competing in a race to win £1 million each through a series of spy-themed challenges.

It was made by 72 Films and MGM Television in association with Eon Productions. The series debuted on November 10, 2023, and was renewed for a second season.

007: Road to a Million Season 2 Format and Cast

Since it is a reality competition television show the cast for the new season will be different. But the cast from the new season is not confirmed yet. The first series focused on the demon Crowley along with angel Aziraphale and they have been together for a long time. They are looking forward to live a peaceful life on Earth as representatives of Heaven and Hell and have not let the conflict to affect their friendship in any way. While they got to know that the battle between Heaven and Hell is going to destroy everything, they collaborate to prevent the upcoming calamity and discontinue the peaceful life they have been living. The second series was set after the Covid-19 lockdown and emphasized on the Archangel Gabriel who arrives at Aziraphale’s bookshop without any memories. Aziraphale and Crowley then try to discover everything that happened to Gabriel and hide him from both the sides since they are trying to find him.

Before releasing the first season the makers have already renewed the series for a second season on September 13, 2023. The first season was released on November 10, 2023.

However, the makers have not confirmed the release date for the second season of the series. After being released, the series received a positive response with particular praise towards the performances of the leads alongside the similarities to the main material. The musical score by David Arnold was also praised and it was a recipient of two nominations at the Primetime Emmy Awards in different categories.
