Buddy cop movie is a genre that has always been loved by the audience. The trend has been going on for a long time since the 80s and 90s and several buddy cop movies have been made till date. A few of them were able to make a mark at the box office while the others failed.

The film has been in the news for a long time specifically because the first two films, 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street managed to receive positive reviews from critics and audiences. 23 Jump Street Plot and Cast

The makers of 23 Jump Street have revealed what we would get to see in the upcoming installment. According to the official plot summary, Jenko and Schmidt have managed to finish their high school but an investigation at a local college forces them to come back.

While Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art-major scene, the duo start to question their partnership. Now they have to solve the case and also behave as adults since they are not in high school anymore. They would go undercover at an office building to find a con-artist who is smuggling illegal whiskey.

The lead cast members include Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Ice Cube and Brad Pitt. The names of the rest shall be disclosed soon.

23 Jump Street Release Date

The developers have not confirmed a release date for 23 Jump Street until now. Meanwhile, it has been officially confirmed that the shooting is scheduled to begin in September 22, 2022.

For now, we can expect that 23 Jump Street would come out sometime in 2023. The film is being helmed by Qmars Mootab and written by Michael Bacall.
