Developed by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear, 9-1-1: Lone Star is a procedural drama television series. The use of Lone Star in the name associates it with Texas, the Lone Star State. Murphy, Falchuk, and Minear are also the executive producers alongside Rob Lowe, Angela Bassett, Bradley Buecker, John J. Gray, Rashad Raisani, Alexis Martin Woodall, and Trey Callaway.

The first season premiered on January 19, 2020, followed by the second season on January 18, 2021. The third season was released on January 3, 2022. The show has received positive reviews from critics and audiences, and currently holds an approval rating of 77% on Rotten Tomatoes. The makers have already renewed the series for a fourth season.

The basic premise of the show follows a sophisticated New York firefighter who relocates from Manhattan, New York to Austin, Texas, with his son. He now has to try to balance the duties of saving those who are at their most vulnerable and solving the problems in his own life. He is also joined by other firefighters and members of the police department and emergency medical services.

Coming to the cast, the leads of the previous three seasons are expected to reprise their roles in Season 4. This includes Rob Lowe, Ronen Rubinstein, Sierra McClain, Jim Parrack, Natacha Karam, Rafael T. Silva, and Julian Works. We can expect to see some new faces since it is a new season.
