One thing that can be surely said about Apple tv is that it is really ‘Trying’ hard. In online streaming service space, it is trying to carve out a place for itself. Whether it will be successful or not only time can tell. Netflix and Amazon Prime videos are determined and established competitors. Apple will surely have to bring up quality content, if it wants to stand a chance. In this quest, it has released a new comedy series ‘Trying’.

Trying revolves around Nikki and Jason, almost normal couples trying to get a baby. They first try to get a baby of their own but are unable to conceive. The desperation even pushes them to have public sex. After thinking about many options they decide that the next best option they have is to adopt a child. But everything does not work the way it was planned. The adoption process is not as smooth as they had wished. They have to convince the adoption panel on one hand and manage their chaotic life and their relationship on the other hand.

This series is directed by Jim O’Hanlon and written by Andy Wolton.
