Back in 1993, it was released on July 16th by Walt Disney. Now a cult classic but in the beginning, it wasn’t the case, with Disney losing over 16.3 billion due to its release. The audience gradually began to fall in love with the movie even though it was a subject of negative reviews earlier in its release dates. Now, Hocus pocus has gathered quite a cult following with the help of annual airings on the Disney channel as well as freeform. The film revolves around three witches who are accidentally resurrected by a teenage boy on a Halloween night, at Salem, Massachusetts. The trio is villainously comedic.
