A Discovery of Witches is a British fantasy television programme. The show is based on the trilogy of All Souls by Deborah Harkness which is named after the first novel in the trilogy. Bad Wolf and Sky Productions produced this. Teresa Palmer, Matthew Goode, Edward Bluemel, Louise Brealey, Malin Buska, Aiysha Hart, Owen Teale, Alex Kingston and Valarie Pettiford star in this series.
The first season of A Discovery of Witches was premiered in the UK on Sky One on 14 September 2018 and consisted of eight episodes. In November 2018, Sky One renewed A Discovery of Witches for a second and third series.

A Discovery of Witches plot:
Diana Bishop, a scholar and reluctant witch, accidentally finds a bewitched book in the Oxford Bodleian Library. This revelation pushes her back into the realm of magic to uncover the mysteries she keeps about supernatural creatures. The enigmatic geneticist and vampire Matthew Clairmont is offering her support. In spite of the long-standing animosity between the witches and the vampires, they formed an alliance and set out to protect the book and solve the mysteries concealed inside it while dodging the dangers from the world of creatures.
A Discovery of Witches cast:
This show sees Teresa Palmer as Diana Bishop, Matthew Goode as Matthew Clairmont and Edward Bluemel as Marcus Whitmore. Louise Brealey plays the role of Gillian Chamberlain and Malin Buska plays the role of Satu Järvinen. Aiysha Hart is seen as Miriam Shephard, Owen Teale as Peter Knox and Alex Kingston as Sarah Bishop.
A Discovery of Witches season 2 Release Date:
Sky was hoping to put the series back to 2020, but then covid took place and it was postponed. But now according to the production house the show will be returning on January 8, 2021.
