Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist is an American musical comedy-drama television series created by Austin Winsberg that premiered its first season on January 7, 2020, on NBC.  The series stars Jane Levy as Zoey Clarke, a software developer who discovers she has the ability to hear the innermost thoughts of people as songs.

The show follows Jane Levy as Zoey Clarke, who is a whip-smart computer coder forging her way in San Francisco. After an unusual event, she starts to hear the innermost wants and desires of the people around her through songs. At first, she questions her own sanity but soon realizes this unwanted curse may just be an incredibly wonderful gift.

Season 2 of the hit NBC musical dramedy premiered on 5 January 2021 at 8 P.M ET, and after only six episodes, the show is now going on its winter hiatus — in other words, there will not be new episodes of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist airing in the next few weeks.

Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist will return to NBC with a new episode on Sunday, March 28 at 9 p.m. ET. Yep, you read that right — the show is moving to Sunday nights. As longtime viewers know, the first season of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist aired on Sunday nights. But when it came back with season 2, the dramedy was bumped to Tuesday nights during primetime. Now, starting this spring, the show will go back to its initial time slot.
