The show will premiere on December 29 exclusively on Disney+. It will be a nine-episode long series which will arrive weekly on every Wednesday.

The series stars Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand.
Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are the creators as well as executive producers of the show. Other executive producers include Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson.

Disney+ describes the series as, “The show is a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.”
In the Season 2 post-credit scenes of The Mandalorian, the pair was seen taking over Jabba’s former palace on Tatooine, suggesting that Boba is setting himself up as a crime lord on the galaxy’s Outer Rim.
