Peacemaker: Release Date, Cast, Trailer and more updates!

If you are into superhero movies/series and, on top of that a hardcore DC fan, then here is a piece of good news for you. DC has recently dropped its first-ever DC Extended Universe (DCEU) television series this week, Peacemaker.

This American superhero streaming television series is based on one of the DC Comics characters Peacemaker, a villain. It is created by James Gunn for the streaming service HBO Max and produced by Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company in association with DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. The Filming began on January 15 in Vancouver, Canada till July 2021. Gunn directed five of the episodes.

Peacemaker: Plot and Casts!

This action series is a spin-off from the 2021 DC film The Suicide Squad. The plot revolves around the character named Christopher Smith also known as Peacemaker. However, it explores the origins of Peacemaker whose ultimate goal is to establish peace. In his quest for peace, he commits several murders. The series is also set in the Pacific Northwest.

John Cena is playing the leading role with Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, and Chukwudi Iwuji playing major roles.

Peacemaker: Trailer and Release Date

Comprising of a total of eight episodes, the tv series premiered today, 13 January 2022. It has also released its first three episodes, “The Whole New Whirled”, “Best Friends, For Never”, and “Better Goff Dead” on the said date. The rest of the five episodes will release weekly through 17 February.

The trailer also opens with two police officers where they describe Peacemaker as a ‘trained killer’ and ‘maniac’. However, the next quick shots take us into the life of Peacemaker, his relationship with his father, the brief information of his past life, the independent workforce he works for in present, his fellow teammates, and how they work.
