Degrassi: Release Date, Trailer and more!
Developed by Lara Azzopardi and Julia Cohen, Degrassi is a brand new show which is coming soon on HBO Max. It is based on The Degrassi series by Linda Schuyler, Kit Hood, Yan Moore and Stephen Stohn.
The series was ordered in January 2022 and production for the same started in the summer of 2022. Casting process began by searching for youths between 13 and 20 year olds with filming eventually starting in July 2022 and it is expected to end by the end of November 2022.

Degrassi Plot and Cast
The developers have not exactly revealed anything on what the show is all about. However, for now, we can say that since it is a teen drama, there are a lot of things that we would get to see in the series. Meanwhile, HBO Max offered a glimpse of the show sometime ago. They said that it is a character-driven series about the high school experience and the thrilling, often painful journey of self-discovery.
Set in Toronto, the new series explores a group of teenagers and school faculty living in the shadow of events that both bind them together and tear them apart. The show travels deep into the hearts and homes of diverse, complicated characters, as they struggle to find their new normal, reaching for hope, redemption and love.
The cast members have not been revealed yet and they are expected to be disclosed as soon as the release date approaches closer.
Degrassi Release Date
Degrassi is still in the making stage which confirms that we may not get to see the show anytime soon. While the show was announced, the makers attempted to release the show by 2023 and an official date is yet to be revealed.
The number of episodes for the new show remains unknown and further details are yet to be revealed. It is produced by WildBrain Studios and distributed by WildBrain Distribution.
