Evil Dead Rise: Release Date, Cast, and more!

The upcoming American supernatural horror drama film Evil Dead Rise is directed and written by Irish film writer and director Lee Cronin. This will be the fifth entry in the Evil Dead franchise and features Lily Sullivan and Alyssa Sutherland as two sisters who attempt to save their family from demons. The rest of the roles are played by Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols, and Nell Fisher.

Before being released in theatres and HBO Max, the movie will be released at the SXSW by Warner Bros. Pictures in March this year.

The movie Evil Dead Rise is set to be released theatrically on April 21, 2023. But before it has been released theatrically, the movie will be released at the SXSW by Warner Bros. Pictures in March this year.

Filming for the movie started on June 6, 2021, in New Zealand where Dave Garbett served as cinematographer. When the halfway of the film is confirmed by Cronin on July 14, 2021, and finally, it is concluded on October 27, 2021.

Evil Dead Rise Plot and Cast

In this film, Beth visits her sister Ellie who has been living with her children in an apartment in L.A. However things are affected when a book is found inside Ellie’s building and this leads to the rise of demons and Beth is forced to fight for survival as she faces the toughest phase of her motherhood.

Now coming to the cast, it includes Lily Sullivan played by Beth, Morgan Davies played by Danny, Nell Fisher played by Kassie, Tai Wano played by Scott, Billy Reynolds-McCarthy played by Jake, Alyssa Sutherland played by Ellie, Gabrielle Echols played by Bridget, Mia Challis played by Jessica, and Jayden Daniels played by Gabriel.
