“Hocus Pocus 2” is on the focus – Here’s all you should know!

The classic cult film Hocus Pocus is based on three witches resurrecting after 300 years to exact revenge and begin a reign of terror after Max, a young boy, who moves to Salem with his family lights a cursed Candle of Black Flame. It was initially released in 1993.

Economically, the first movie didn’t really hit off in the beginning and made a mere 39 million dollars from a 28 million dollar budget. But the movie did become a household tradition, especially during Halloweens. The first installment was directed by Kenny Ortega. It starred the following: Belle Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as the Sanderson Sisters.

Now, after all these years, this movie is decided to be having a sequel and was announced so in the year 2019. Hocus Pocus 2 will be featured on Disney +. There is no official release date as of yet.

What is being said and expected of the sequel?

We don’t know what we should be expecting the upcoming sequel. We can predict no further because no trailer has been uploaded. Though there is hope to see a better success for the sequel than the Hocus Pocus that released in 1993.

Deadline News has announced that Hocus Pocus 2 was first decided to be made in 2014. It took them 21 years to make Hocus Pocus 2. Now the makers have joined on the confirmation about the Hocus Pocus 2 in 2020.
Also, it is being rumored that the actress of the first film, Tina Fey is set to return in the sequel but it won’t happen. It is also being heard that there will be a remake of Hocus Pocus. Bette Midler, the star of the first movie said that original makers are so wanted to create a remake of Hocus Pocus instead of the sequel. Though, it is now confirmed that the sequel will definitely release on Disney +. It is written by Jen D’Angelo and directed by Shankman.
