Everything you need to know about ‘Hannibal’!

Tackling all the controversial critics, Hannibal stood out and glowed really hard. The American psychological horror-thriller television series was developed by Bryan Fuller. It started back in April 4, 2013, on NBC and reached the end mark on August 29,2015. The crime drama was adapted from the novels Red Dragon, Hannibal, and Hannibal Rising by Thomas Harris and ran for a total of 39 episodes, over 3 seasons.

The plot revolves around an immaculate, charismatic and mysterious Dr.Hannibal Lecter, a forensic psychiatrist, who supervises FBI profiler, Will Graham. Will is asked for helping Jack Crawford, the head of Behavioral Sciences, to investigate a serial killer in Minnesota. Surprisingly, Dr.Lecter turns out to be the secret cannibalistic serial killer, who warily tried to mold the ongoing investigation from within. But he was astounded by the empathizing attitude of Will towards the psychopathic murderers. Lecter tries to push his boundaries of fragile sanity, in order to turn him into a killer himself.

For a series about cannibalism, it doesn’t skimp out on the practical effects for body dissection and inwards becoming outwards. The show gains complexities as the mysteries pile up. Season 1 showed multiple sadistic mass killers, whereas, season 2’s actions were fantastic.

One fan says:

I have re-watched this magnificent show countless times. Each time I notice something different that further demonstrates how perfect Hannibal is. This show has something that the movies and books didn’t- a close examination of the Hannibal and Will’s poetic and toxic relationship.”

The show called for the spotlight and was nominated for Primetime Emmy (2016), Critics Choice Television Awards (2016), Directors Guild of Canada (2016), etc and won several awards such as Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films, USA (2017), Fangoria Chainsaw Awards (2016), IGN Summer Movie Awards (2015) and many more.

Hannibal stars Hugh Dancy as Will Graham, Mads Mikkelsen as Hannibal, Caroline Dhavernas as Alana, Hettienne Park as Beverly Katz, Laurence Fishburne as Jack Crawford, Scott Thompson as Jimmy Price, Gillian Anderson as Bedelia, Aaron Abrams as Brian Zeller and many more.

Well, good news for the fans. The show will be available from the month of June on Netflix, with all the seasons. It seems like the show might buckle up for the next season because of more support, which lacked somewhere the last time.
