‘Rise of Skywalker’ is a Star Wars Series that made us all focus on some very important Character. This Character was not Visible but Audible enough to grab the Attention, Yes i am talking about none other than Ahsoka Tano. So Ahsoka is Dead or Alive or will he ever appear in any of the Stars Wars Movie? Let us know about this.
What indications made us believe Ahsoka is Dead?
To recap, right before Rey defeats Palpatine in The Rise of Skywalker, she reaches out with the Force and hears the voices of several Jedi. She hears Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu, Luminara Unduli, Aayla Secura, Yoda. Adi Gallia, Kanan Jarrus, Luminara Unduli, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Qui-Gon Jinn. All of whom are already dead.
The twist comes when she also hears Ahsoka Tano. A character who never became an actual Jedi, and whose part has yet to be revealed in a Star Wars story. Many fans believed her inclusion was proof that the Ahsoka’s dead in The Rise of Skywalker.
Ahsoka Tano’s Role In Star Wars Series.
Who has watched this movie, know that sadly fans got to see nothing of Ahsoka Tano. We can only hear her voice among the many Jedi voices. When? Well During Rey’s (Daisy Ridley) final battle with Emperor Palpatine(Ian McDiarmid).
Among all the other voices, we see Ahsoka’s voice simply saying “Rey. This was also confirmed in The Rise of Skywalker‘s credits, with Ashley Eckstein credited for the part. After this Rey recovers and manages one final war against her evil grandfather. While defeating him zaps the life out of her, she is saved by Ben Solo gifting her his life force.
So Is Ahsoka Dead or Not in this Super Universe?
Many Fans speculated and wondered that if Ahsoka is Dead or not? Will he ever return or not? When is the last time you saw Ahsoka?The last time we saw Ahsoka was after the events of Return of the Jedi, where the Rebellion defeats the Galactic Empire at the end of Rebels. Ahsoka traveled together with Ghost Crew Mandalorian member Sabine, to the Unknown Regions with the hopes of locating Ezra Bridger. Whose whereabouts continue to be a mystery until now after his heroic face-off with Grand Admiral Thrawn. Since then, we’ve never heard anything about the character.
Unfortunately for those who are hoping that Ahsoka is still around, The Rise of Skywalker seems to inadvertently confirm her death by the time of the film. Every voice featured in the aforementioned scene came from a confirmed dead Jedi, except for hers. Perhaps it’s Lucasfilm’s way of officially announcing that she’s no longer around, which would explain her absence in the sequel trilogy.
Dave Filoni has kept quiet about anything related to Ahsoka’s fate since we last saw her. However, the good news is that he has floated the idea a couple of times that we’ll get to reunite with her and find out what she has been up to since her last emergence. With the arrival of Disney+, a Ahsoka Tano TV series may be in the treasure for Lucasfilm. Whether this Character will return or not, no need to worry as no Official Announcement is made about Ahsoka is Dead or Not.
