The review aggregator, Rotten Tomatoes, reported a 100% approval rating with an average rating of 6.1/10, based on 11 critic reviews.

On May 12, 2022, NBC renewed the series for a second season and it is scheduled to premiere on January 24, 2023. The new season might also have 10 episodes like season 1.
