Fans will be very glad to know that As We See It is coming soon! The new family comedy drama from Amazon Prime is created by Jason Katims. It follows a group of 20 somethings Jack, Harrison and Violet, who are on the autism spectrum. The series showcases their lives as the attempt to navigate love, friendships and career. Thus the show has a very interesting premise and is shaping up to be a great watch. The group face challenges and victories on their own distinct paths of life. They find independence and acceptance, with the help of their families, aides, and sometimes even each other. Katims is also the writer, and executive producer of the show. As We See It: Plot and Cast

Amazon described the series as being one that follows “twenty-something roommates on the autism spectrum, as they strive to get and keep jobs, make friends, fall in love, and navigate a world that eludes them. With the help of their families, aide, and sometimes even each other, these roommates experience setbacks and celebrate triumphs on their own unique journeys towards independence and acceptance.”

Thus we can see that the show will be an empathetic account of the lives of the autistic. It will surely be a very interesting watch.

As for the cast, it features actors who identify as autistic in the lead roles. They are Rick Glassman, Albert Rutecki, and Sue Ann Pien. Other members of the cast include Sosie Bacon, Chris Pang (Crazy Rich Asians), and Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds). Thus with such big names involved as well as representation for actors with autism, the show has generated a lot of posiyive hype.
