Originally called ‘Sorjonen’, ‘Bordertown’ is a Finnish Crime Drama series that had its recent season debut in Finland in December 2019.
Season 3 of ‘Bordertown’ is set to deliver it’s ten-episode Season 3 on Netflix in early May. It has been two years since Season 2 dropped on the streaming service.
Season 1 of Bordertown was added to Netflix in March 2017 and Season 2 was added in February 2019. Season 3 has already aired on Yle TV1, a Finnish network, starting December 2019 and ended in February 2020.
Plot
The series chronicles the life of a detective that takes up a job to slow down his work life, but what he ends up with is bigger and dangerous crimes to deal with. Season 3 goes as,
“Before Christmas, the family of Kari Sorjonen, a special unit for serious crimes, faces a tragedy that forces Kari to think about what made them move to the border town.”
