Created by Carlos Montero and Dario Madrona, Elite is a thriller teen drama series produced for Netflix. It features an ensemble cast and most of them have been featured in other Netflix works produced or distributed in Spain or Latin America.

The first season of the show premiered on October 5, 2018, followed by the second on September 6, 2019. The third season was released on March 13, 2020, and the fourth was released on June 18, 2021. The fifth season was released on April 8, 2022. The seventh season is scheduled to premiere soon.

The latest season of the show was released on 18 November 2022, and it consisted of eight episodes in total. It was announced on October 25th, 2022, that Netflix renewed the series for a seventh season.

The renewal came a month before the release of the sixth season. Filming is set to commence in late 2022. The show is produced by Zeta Producciones.
