Foodtastic: Release Date, Cast, Official Trailer And More!
Fans of food and all things eating will be delighted to hear that Foodtastic is coming soon. The show is all about culinary arts and the joys of food. It is a cooking competition show where master chefs from all over the world will come together. Their challenge is to create jaw dropping sculptures of iconic Disney characters and moments using regular culinary ingredients. Thus it is both a test of skill and imagination. The show is produced by Endemol Shine North America, and directed by Rich Kim. The show is hosted by Keke Palmer who is also an executive producer. With such an interesting premise and big names involved, the show is shaping up to be quite the scrumptious watch. Read more to find out all we know about the show so far, including the release date!
Foodtastic: Plot and Cast
The show is a reality tv competition so it doesn’t have a plt as such. However, the official Disney+ show description reads as follows:
“Foodtastic” is an immersive global competition series in which highly skilled artists create extravagant scene work and larger-than-life sculptures made entirely out of food. From vegetables and butter to fruit and cheese, these everyday items are transformed into works of art. Each episode is rooted in iconic Disney IP and the food-based builds are an extension of that world. “Foodtastic” is hosted by Emmy Award® winner Keke Palmer (Disney+’s “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder”) with FLOUR SHOP founder Amirah Kassem and NYC’s City Cakes founder Chef Benny Rivera serving as food art experts. “Foodtastic” will be available to stream beginning Wednesday, December 15, only on Disney+.
Thus we can see that the show will indeed be a fun watch.
As for the cast, Keke Palmer has been confirmed as the host of the show. Amirah Kassem and Chef Benny Rivera will serve as mentors.
